Self-storage boom continues across the Valley

Thousands of self-storage units are in the pipeline across the Valley as metro Phoenix ranks at the top of the charts for storage demand in the U.S.

Population and employment growth have helped drive the ongoing demand for construction in Phoenix and other Sunbelt markets as the self-storage sector has started to stabilize since the Covid-19 pandemic boom. Younger generations have also started to show more interest in storage, especially in cities like Scottsdale, Mesa and Tempe.
