Peoria scores economic development wins

The city of Peoria recently scored economic development wins by attracting six new companies to the area that are expected provide hundreds of jobs and millions of dollars investment into the city.

City Manager Henry Darwin said Peoria’s economic development team has done a great job of locating six companies in the city.

The new locates include a Trader Joe’s distribution center that will have 200,000 square feet at the Peoria Logistics Park, near Loop 101 and Grand Avenue.
