Eloy plant producing renewable natural gas

ELOY — A company in Eloy is converting dairy manure into renewable natural gas through the utilization of a large digester.

Eloy Circularity Center held a press conference April 10 to celebrate the sustainability of the project.

Bob Powell, founder and CEO of Brightmark, said it is employing local workers and providing economic support for the community.

“It’s a win-win for our community,” Powell said. “For us, Eloy is the only place where we are working (in Arizona),” Powell said, adding they are working with 40 dairy farms across the nation.
