Starting immediately, appointments will be required for all permit submissions on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. This change is anticipated to decrease wait times significantly and streamline the permit application and review process, ultimately accelerating project initiations and completions.
Recognizing the diverse needs of its community, the department will continue to offer walk-in services on Wednesdays, allowing for more flexibility for those who may not be able to schedule appointments in advance. This hybrid approach ensures that the department remains accessible to all while improving operational efficiency.
