Taylor Morrison goes extreme (makeover)

ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” is rebooting and recruiting Taylor Morrison as the exclusive home builder for the series. Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin of The Home Edit will host the show. 

“In all the wonderful seasons of the ‘Extreme Makeover’ franchise the show has never had an exclusive home builder partner, which makes us incredibly proud to bring a new experience to the beloved formula,” says Taylor Morrison chairman and CEO Sheryl Palmer. “This will be a season unlike any other as we deliver so much more than beautiful new homes for deserving families, and I can’t wait for our communities and viewers at home to witness the magic unfold.”

The news follows the filming of a pilot episode in Taylor Morrison’s Emory Crossing community in Hutto, Texas, in September. The rest of the season, which will showcase heartwarming stories and impressive builds, will be filmed this fall.
