Chemical warehouse proposed in West Valley

A 168,000-square-foot chemical warehouse has been proposed in the city of Surprise’s industrial corridor, northwest of Phoenix.

The Surprise planning commission is scheduled to vote on a conditional use permit at its Aug. 1 meeting to allow for petroleum products, packaging and storage, including butane distributors in the facility, a city staff report said.
