The city of Avondale recently broke ground on its newest amenity, Civic Center Park. Within reach of the Civic Center Library and newly added Aquatic Center, the city is excited to make this area one of its most popular in the future.
“It’s becoming a hub for our residents, and for some customer service opportunities for us to provide outstanding programs and activations with our residents and visitors in our community,” said Corey Larriva, director of Avondale parks, recreation and libraries. “This new park property is just another great way for us to engage with those residents who are already coming to the city, maybe for other services, and really centralizing our community and giving them a spot to meet and come together.”
