Apartments, grocery store planned at north Phoenix business center

An Aldi grocery store is planned near 19th Avenue and Bell Road in Phoenix, according to a site plan for the Bell 17 Business Center development.

It would be the grocery chain’s third store in the city of Phoenix and 10th in the Valley. The Bell 17 Business Center takes up 82.5 acres southwest of 19th Avenue and Bell Road. It is west of 19th Avenue from a Walmart and the Turf Paradise horse rack track. The Aldi will be southeast of 21st Avenue and Bell Road.

Also planned in the develop is a 363-unit apartment complex on 21.6 acres northeast of 19th Avenue and Grand View Road. Developers received preliminary site plan approval for the apartments on Monday from the city of Phoenix.
