Broadway-style theater proposed for Glendale resort

Several major changes are coming to the still under-construction VAI Resort in Glendale, including plans for an indoor theater and a conference center.

The major hospitality development, located in the city’s sports and entertainment district, is set to start opening in late 2025 and would become the largest resort in Arizona at full buildout with four hotel towers, the Mattel Adventure Park, a public beach and $50 million amphitheater.
