A request for proposal (RFP) for possible uses for the area of the old courthouse in downtown Flagstaff was discussed with city council on Tuesday.
Council was in a work session during the discussion of the RFP, and Michelle McNulty, planning director for the city, said that the council’s ideas and opinions about what it thinks is the best course of action would help the planning team decide a definitive option for the lot.
“We have a proposal that pretty much gives us everything we wanted, but we really want to have a conversation about what that looks like and does the benefit of what we get with the mass and scale work for you,” McNulty said. “If it does, we know how to proceed with negotiations. Otherwise we would like some guidance on how we should continue.”
