AC Hotels by Marriott has announced plans to open a new location in the GSQ district, a growing area in Goodyear’s downtown.

“We chose Goodyear for our AC by Marriott development because of its vibrant growth, welcoming community, and its position within a high-quality development that aligns with our brand’s values,” said BJ Patel, senior vice president of Baywood Hotels, which will operate the hotel.

The four-story hotel will feature 135 guest rooms, designed for both business and leisure travelers. Amenities will include a lounge, bar, dining options, a business center, and an outdoor pool. With more than 1,200 square feet of meeting space, the hotel will accommodate business gatherings and small events.

“I could not be more excited that AC Hotels has chosen to come to Goodyear,” said Goodyear Mayor Joe Pizzillo. “Our new downtown is quickly becoming a destination for not just locals, but for visitors as well who will be able to experience great food, entertainment and a great stay all in one location.”
