Prescott City Council Regular Meeting 1/28/2025Discussion and Potential Adoption of Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU’s) Ordinance In response to recent state law that prohibits a ban on ADUs in single-family residential districts, the ordinance will require that ADUs:-Be less than 600 square feet or less than 50% of the principal dwelling unit floor area (whichever is greater)-share utilities with the primary residence-Have private submeters to promote conservation (no separate meters allowed)
Prescott Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting 1/30/2025Approval of Draft General PlanDiscussion of approval of the draft 2025 General Plan. Following this approval and a City Council approval, the 2025 General Plan will be put up for a final approval by a vote of Prescott residents.
