Coolidge leaders hopeful about Nikola

Nikola Corporation’s bankruptcy filing has led many to wonder what this means for the plant in Coolidge.

Nikola plans to support some service and operations through the end of March. Beyond that would depend on whether or not they could find funding for continued operations.

Coolidge City Manager Gilbert Lopez is hopeful that the company will continue operations, believing Nikola to be an “important part” of Inland Port Arizona but also important for “the future of trucking.”
