New single-family home sales increased 4.2% over 2024 in March and are up 3.5% in year-to-date comparisons in the Valley, according to the latest data from Phoenix Realtors. The number of closed sales in March was the highest since May 2024.
And the Scottsdale market is improving even better than the Valley as a whole, with closed sales up 18% over the first quarter of 2024 in Scottsdale.
“Part of the reason for higher sales (in Scottsdale) is the attraction to a great city,” Phoenix Realtors Board President Christy Walker said in an email to the Daily Independent. “However, it also helps that Scottsdale has more months’ supply of inventory for buyers than surrounding areas, and buyers love to have choices.”
