CG considers multimillion-dollar recreational facilities

With a growing population, Casa Grande’s recreational facilities are busy and in demand.

During a study session Monday, the Casa Grande City Council heard a presentation from Community Services Director Daniel Gallegos about current demand for recreational facilities and hopes of addressing the demand with new facilities in the future. 

The city’s Sports Complex Concept plan envisions new baseball, softball, soccer and multipurpose fields as well as a new aquatics facility with a heated pool.
