Avondale is looking to the future as its city council recently adopted the five-year strategic plan — an initiative that will set a clear course for the city’s growth, development and community priorities.
Indoctrinated at its most recent city council meeting the plans goals and initiatives were created with input from residence, local businesses, stakeholders and city staff.
“One of my first priorities as Mayor was to ensure that city leadership had clear direction regarding the Council’s vision,” said Mayor Mike Pineda. “The 2025 Avondale Strategic Plan has met our expectations. The residents of Avondale can be assured that their city will be working hard to fill the goals contained within this plan.”
