Inflation continues to be a thorn in the side of American consumers, but living in Surprise isn’t as bad as it could be.
The city was recently ranked as the third most affordable place to live in the West, according to online money website The Motley Fool.
The 10th-most populous city in the state was credited for its high wage earners compared to its cost of living.
The report showed Surprise has a cost of living of $79,521, which is a little bit above the national average, but the average household income of $89,560 is about 10% higher than the average of other cities.
