CG council wants to hear from community

The City Council is asking the community which issues matter most.

An online survey is being conducted, and a community open house is planned for Aug. 11 at Dorothy Powell Senior Center.

These initiatives build on a survey conducted by the city in January, which attracted over 1,000 participants, identifying several key issues. Topics that rated highly included public safety, continued infrastructure improvements and more recreational facilities, such as a new swimming complex and additional park spaces.
