WIFA receives proposals for water importation projects

WIFA has received six offers outlining water importation proposals as a part of its Long-Term Water Augmentation Fund (LTWAF) Solicitation process.

The solicitation process began with 17 teams submitting their qualifications for developing new, renewable water supplies for Arizona. Following an extensive review in accordance with the Solicitation guidelines, three of these teams were deemed qualified to submit offers for further consideration. From these teams, WIFA has received six proposals for water importation projects:
