Pinal Airpark expansion

Located between the two largest cities of Arizona, Pinal Airpark has been working diligently for some time to increase its capacity. A fundamental step towards this goal is the recent approval for the installation of an air traffic control tower.

Pinal County District 4 Supervisor Jeffrey McClure emphasized how, “This tower will facilitate the ability to grow this facility as well as the rest of the airpark”, helping it to keep up with the growth and development that Pinal County is seeing.

Representative Juan Ciscomani of District 6 has played an important role in securing this control tower, advocating not only for approval, but for funding. Ciscomani shared how the competition was nationwide but the growth and potential that Pinal County holds, as well as the availability of land and cooperative local government allowed Pinal Airpark to be propelled to the top of the application list for funding through the FAA and grants.

Already home to Ascent Aviation Services, the Silverbell Army Heliport and soon Digiflight, this key infrastructure addition is expected to accelerate development at Pinal Airpark and across Pinal County. Follow the link provided to hear more on this significant step for Pinal County.

Sincerely,
