Fondomonte hoping to dodge public nuisance lawsuit

In a new filing, Fondomonte Arizona, a Saudi-backed agriculture company under fire for allegedly excessive groundwater pumping, claims the attorney general lacks the authority to sustain legal action against the company, arguing instead that groundwater regulatory authority falls exclusively to the Arizona Department of Water Resources.
