Eloy city manager resigns

ELOY — The city of Eloy announced Friday that City Manager David Malewitz had submitted his resignation after more than four years of service to the city.

Malewitz has accepted a position with the city of Paso Robles, California, where he will continue his career in public service. His official end date will be determined by the Eloy City Council during its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, Sept. 22.

During his tenure, Malewitz guided Eloy through a period of significant growth and transformation, overseeing major initiatives in infrastructure, community services and economic development.
