A 72-unit multifamily residential development is now planned for a 5-acre infill site located at the northeast corner of 87th and Northern avenues.
The parcel is about a half mile from the Peoria Crossing shopping area, anchored by big-box retailer Target.
Peoria City Council recently approved a minor general plan amendment and rezoning to facilitate the development of the project by Northern Ave Properties LLC.
The project will be comprised of five two-story buildings — 48 one-bedroom units and 24 two-bedroom units.
