CASA GRANDE — Casa Grande is finally set to get a new grocery story, as Aldi announced a grand opening celebration for early next month.
Plans for the new Aldi located near Whataburger and Walmart on Florence Boulevard were first presented back in 2021, with construction commencing in the early part of this year.
The company is planning its grand opening for 8 a.m. on Oct. 2, an hour earlier than the typical store hours of 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. The first 100 customers will receive a gift bag full of popular products the store offers, as well as a gift card. They can also enter a sweepstakes for a $500 gift card.
Aldi is a German-based multinational, family-owned discount supermarket chain that operates over 12,000 stores in 18 different countries. The supermarket typically sells products at a reduced rate compared to some competitors with fewer brands. Most of the products are Aldi originals.
