CG mayor announces plans to seek reelection

CASA GRANDE — Citing Casa Grande’s rapid growth and a desire to help guide that growth with a focus on residents’ quality of life, Lisa Navarro Fitzgibbons announced plans to seek reelection as mayor Monday.

In a press release, Fitzgibbons said that if reelected next year she plans to focus on the top priorities outlined by area residents during “community meetings, surveys and direct engagement.”

Those areas include developing more trust in, and increasing the responsiveness of, public safety services, critical infrastructure upgrades and improvements as the city continues to grow, seeking more good jobs, and investing resources in areas like parks, housing, recreation and services to improve the quality of life for those in the city.
