Verge, a 201-unit build-to-rent community in Apache Junction, cut the ribbon on April 15, 2026, and officially opened its residential buildings for move-ins. Built and managed by 29th Street Living, the development mixes detached, single-family-style rental homes with shared amenities for renters who want extra space without the stress of homeownership. According to city and developer representatives, leasing has been moving quickly since the first homes came online.

According to the City of Apache Junction, elected officials and local stakeholders joined 29th Street Living for the ribbon-cutting and a private celebration, and all residential buildings at Verge are now complete and open to residents. Mayor Chip Wilson, who attended the event, said the project will help energize the Old West Highway corridor and thanked the developer for investing and collaborating with the city. The city lists Verge’s address as 1297 E. Broadway Ave., on the southwest corner of Broadway and Tomahawk Road.
