Scottsdale has a $2.1 billion budget for fiscal year 2026-27.
The Scottsdale City Council approved the document and the 5-year capital improvement plan 7-0 during it’s June 9 meeting.
But to the chagrin of a couple of City Council members and six members of the public who spoke about the issue, it does not include funding for several water projects.
Among other things, the budget, does not include $48.2 million for Bartlett Dam improvement project, $67.7 million for advanced purified recycled water infrastructure.
