Just as McCartney Road was deemed to be a key roadway in the case of large growth in the Coolidge area, Eleven Mile Corner has been singled out as a road that could be expanded and extended in the future.
Jim Townsend from Wilson & Associates, which was tasked to find soem solutions to transportation issues after Coolidge adopted its transportation plan as funded by the Arizona Department of Transportation, revealed some options for how this would take place. The main problems discussed would revolve around extending Eleven Mile to Highway 87. This could be done by either connecting it to Skousen Road or McRae Road, or simply extending the current Eleven Mile. Each options contains its own obstacles, not the least of which being how to cross the canals.
