Cave Creek rides motto dustup to best Wild West Days ever

Organizers of Cave Creek’s signature Wild West Days are touting it as the town’s most successful event yet.

Johnny Ringo, president of the Cave Creek Merchant’s and Events Association, said Wild West Day’s 10th year brought out record numbers from throughout the Valley — more than 20,000 attended, compared with between 11,000 and 12,000 last year.

“Wild West Days was a stampede,” Ringo said.
