Rose Law Group client, Phoenix Country Day School, set to build $7M aquatic complex – congratulations!

Phoenix Country Day School will build a new aquatic center on its campus in Paradise Valley, with two pools, new locker rooms and shaded seating.

Construction is set to begin over winter break on the $7 million complex, with completion planned for next summer.

Besides replacing the existing pool, which is 40 years old, the project will serve as the new home for the Phoenix Swim Club, which will soon lose its home base at the Brophy Sports Campus. Brophy Prep is selling that land, near 30th Street and Campbell Avenue, to a housing developer and building a pool on its Central Avenue campus.

Andrew Rodin, head of school at Phoenix Country Day, said the aquatic center has been planned for several years.

“It gets us back up to speed with what we’re doing internally with physical education, and from a competitive swimming standpoint, and it opens us up to the community,” he said. Continue reading
