Military families have special needs when buying home

Those who protect our country in the military may need guidance to find homes for themselves and their families.

Military personnel need a lot of information provided quickly and concisely, says Peg Robinson, a broker associate with the Peoria office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.

“They have days to find a home, not months, like most of us,” she said. “Today, buyers can get a lot of info online regarding school districts, crime stats, values and commute times, and that’s good. But they often arrive in town, heads spinning, and need help sorting out the data.
