A northeast Mesa subdivision plan that struggled to balance preservation efforts with financially feasible lot sizes has secured unanimous Planning and Zoning Board approval despite neighbors’ lingering worries.
The vacant, 40-acre parcel on the northwest corner of Signal Butte and Adobe roads falls within the city’s Desert Uplands zone, generally bordered by Power Road, the Central Arizona Project canal, University Drive and Mesa’s northern and eastern boundaries.
