Arizona Public Service Co. has lined up a plan for its renewable energy spending next year, one that would give customers either a small solar power incentive or none at all.
The plan, filed last month with the Arizona Corporation Commission, is a yearly document that details what APS, the state’s largest utility, plans to spend and what will be the elements of its renewable energy plan for the next year.
Like last year, APS is giving the commission choices on where it wants to go as the utility is in no danger of failing to meet the targets set out in Arizona’s renewable energy standard, said Greg Bernosky, renewable energy program manager for APS.
