No rush to change status of San Tan: Talk of incorporation hasn’t picked up steam

In July 2010, the Florence Town Council voted 7-0 against a resolution of support for the incorporation of San Tan Valley. Over the four years since, discussion of the topic in Pinal County’s most populated area has been at a minimum.

Tim Kanavel, economic development manager for Pinal County, doesn’t see incorporation of San Tan Valley happening anytime soon.
