The housing market has rebounded from artificially low recession levels, according to the latest report from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University According to the report, the price for a median single-family home in Maricopa and Pinal counties stabilized at just under $205,000 and is expected to remain stable for the rest of the year.
“By the end of the year we could be seeing sales numbers in excess over the pervious year,” said the report’s author, Michael Orr. “The last part of last year was pretty miserable because of the (government) shutdown.”
