Scottsdale candidates position themselves on light rail

Each week Independent Newsmedia is asking questions of each candidate and running those responses in weekly installments at arizona.newszap.com and in the Scottsdale Independent newspaper.

The eight candidates seeking a seat on Scottsdale City Council are: Michael Auerbach, Bill Crawford, Cindy Hill, David Smith, Jennifer Petersen, Kathy Littlefield, Linda Milhaven and Dennnis Robbins.

The eighth installment of the question-and-answer series is on what these candidates say is his or her stance on Light Rail coming to Scottsdale and what mass-transit options ought to be pursued as the community continues to evolve.
