Homeowners have Super Bowl fever

A growing number of Phoenix-area homeowners are trying to cash in on the Super Bowl, reports The Arizona Republic  on Monday.

Here’s just a sample of listings on super-bowl-rentalz.com, where homeowners can list their homes for $149:

9841 W. Echo Lane, Peoria: $2,000 per night, 2560 square feet, listed three weeks ago.

10117 W. Superior Ave., Tolleson: $25,000 per month, 2,450 square feet, listed three months ago.

Prices on phoenix.craigslist.org:

2015 Fiesta Bowl: 1 week, $13,995.

2015 Pro Bowl, 1 week, $14,995.

2015 Super Bowl, 1 week, $15,995

2015 spring training, up to three months for $5,500 a month.
