Gilbert commission says proposed development doesn’t ‘live, work, play’

A Town of Gilbert Planning Con mmission staff report dated Sept. 3 recommends rejection of a rezoning and development application because the plan does not conform the town’s “live, work, play” concept.

The AZ Gilbert Holdings LLC/Lehman Brothers proposal to develop the 25-acre site at the southeast corner of Warner and Gilbert roads included a strip of neighborhood retail and office buildings on the parcel northwest of the existing Banner Health Center parcel.
