Marina Heights, the Tempe Town Lake project with lots of space (2 million square feet) and a big tenant (State Farm Insurance regional headquarters), added the No. 1 ranking in today’s Valley Construction Projects list, thanks to its big budget ($600 million).
The list, limited to projects that began in 2013 and will run $25 million or more, was ranked by total budget. Behind the Marina Heights project, developed by Ryan Companies U.S. and Sunbelt Holdings, is Sky Harbor International Airport’s Terminal 3 Modernization Project at $590 million. That project is a joint venture of the Hunt Construction Group and Austin Commercial.
