Plans have been submitted to the city of Scottsdale to build anew on the site of a blighted, half-demolished building on the waterfront.
The two-story, fenced half-demolished structure between the W Hotel and Scottsdale Road that once housed a mishmash of shops and offices is coming down at last – if plans from C.F. Waterfront Investments LLC are approved by the city.
The four-story mixed residential, retail and office complex has been designed by TriARC Architecture & Design LLC. The On The Waterfront plan calls for a restaurant, bar and two residences to rise in a contemporary low-rise with 14,000 square feet on the 17,600-square-foot lot, 4443 N. Scottsdale Rd., at Shoeman Lane. The structure will rise 66 feet, using the Scottsdale Old Town flexible development standards.
