The Glendale Planning Commission at its Jan. 8 meeting unanimously approved plans to rezone Zanjero Pass, which will consist of a housing subdivision and commercial parcel, before the city council likely annexes the land next month.
Tom Dixon, a senior planner for the city, told the commission that his division recommended rezoning 171.55 acres from low density to medium density residential and 8.18 acres from residential to general commercial.
