Net neutrality, Internet taxes and H-1B visas were the three main issues addressed by local technology executives in a recent Washington D.C. trip.
Steve Zylstra, president and CEO of the Arizona Technology Council, led the delegation with five local tech CEOs Feb. 9-12 to brief members of Congress on the most pressing tech issues in the state.
The annual trip was done in coordination with TECNA, Technology Councils of North America, and TechAmerica, the public policy and advocacy department of CompTIA, the IT Industry Trade Association.
Zylstra, who is chairman of TECNA, said the tech council grassroots group represents about 22,500 tech companies around the U.S. and Canada.
