Last week, I joined U.S. Sen. John McCain and other Arizona leaders for a meeting with top executives from Rio Tinto, the global mining company looking to develop a world-class copper mine near Superior.
Much has been made of the company’s interests in Arizona’s rich copper resources and, undoubtedly, Rio Tinto stands to benefit from the proposed Resolution mine, which could supply 25 percent of America’s demand for copper to power technological and environmental innovation and growth.
(Disclosure: Rose Law Group represents Resolution Copper.)
