Bipartisanship was the word of the day as Congress members Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz., District 9) and Matt Salmon (R-Ariz., District 5) sat down for a moderated talk in Mesa on Monday.
Bipartisanship, they said, is how they are making and will continue to make headway in the current House of Representatives.
The East Valley Partnership, a group that promotes economic issues in the eastern portion of the Phoenix Valley, hosted its “Statesperson’s Lunch” at the East Valley Institute for Technology and the two legislators answered questions from a moderator and then from the audience.
They spoke on several topics but zeroed in on showing a united front for Arizona’s Congressional delegation.
