Florence Reminder
“Shall the Town of Florence regain local control and exceed the state-imposed expenditure limitation for Fiscal Year 2015-2016 by $15,000,000, to permit the Town to adopt a budget no greater than the amount that was adopted for Fiscal Year 2014-2015?”
This is the one-and-only question on the ballot arriving in Florence voters’ mail over the next couple of days.
A majority “yes” vote will permit the town to continue existing services by regaining control of its revenues. It will neither increase nor decrease taxes.
