Glendale isn’t budging on arena decision

Glendale will go forward with efforts to end a 15-year, $225 million agreement with the Arizona Coyotes.

The City Council met in a one-hour closed-door session Tuesday, after which Tom Duensing, Glendale interim assistant city manager, issued a short statement saying the city will continue to pursue its legal case.

The Coyotes convinced a Maricopa County Superior Court judge last week to put the city’s move to end the deal on hold.
