After years of planning, a senior-housing project that won initial city approval in 2014 has begun phase one of what will be a several-year construction.
Fann Contracting and Granite Basin Engineering began working on the site’s infrastructure this past week.
“We’re grading the land and placing utilities, which will be followed by road work [a several month operation],” said Tom Biel, Touchmark executive director for Prescott and executive vice president for the entire company.
Touchmark has been in business since 1980 and owns 11 senior living communities, each slightly different to suit the areas they serve.
