Gilbert Hospital has released nearly all the administrative staff at Florence Hospital at Anthem as part of a tentative plan for both hospitals to emerge from bankruptcy under joint ownership and operation.
In their places are Gilbert Hospital officials serving on an interim basis for now. The two hospital Websites Tuesday listed the same CEO, chief financial officer, chief nursing officer and chief medical officer. The changes began late last week.
Florence hospital staff referred questions Tuesday to Daniel E. Garrison, lead bankruptcy attorney for Gilbert Hospital. He couldn’t say for certain how many administrators had been replaced Tuesday, and added the process was not yet complete.
