Glendale Councilman Sherwood avoids legal traffic jam

The Glendale Star reported in its Sept. 17 issue that Councilmember Gary Sherwood posted a $1,500 bond Sept. 11.

That payment quashed the warrant issued against him because he did not show up at a court hearing in Apache County after speeding and driving on a suspended driver’s license in September 2013.

The court sent Sherwood notices informing him of what could happen if he did not resolve his traffic offenses. The judge who signed the warrant in August 2014 noted that Sherwood had promised to attend the hearing.
