Town planners are eyeing a development of specialty retail shops, restaurants and professional offices for land near the new aquatic center.
With the completion of the new library, aquatic center and athletic courts and fields, the town is looking toward developing the remaining 10 acres it lifted out of a flood plain last year for those projects.
Town staff is writing a draft request for proposals for qualified entities to lease or purchase and develop the acreage north of the library/community center.
